Dr. W. Scott Mays Owner of Pet Medical Center in Frisco & All Pet Care Center in Prosper. Born and raised in Frisco, Texas, he graduated from Frisco High School and is a 5th generation “Friscoite”. He and wife Janis currently reside in Celina, they have a set of twins (1 boy, 1 girl). Dr Mays has 2 older children who graduated from Frisco High School. Dr. Mays studied Biological Medical Science and attended the College of Veterinary Medicine while at Texas A & M University. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 1976. He Practiced in southern and northern California, Houston and Irving, Texas before returning home to Frisco. He began his Frisco practice in 1982. An avid outdoorsman, Dr Mays is environmentally conscious and is involved with numerous animal rescue groups. He is dedicated to continually improving and strengthening the “human-animal bond”, and to the deliverance of progressive veterinary medicine. He primarily works in the Frisco location but as time allows hopes to help in our Prosper location. Dr. Steven A. Flowers Graduate of Texas A&M University of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. He practiced at his own clinics in Shreveport, Louisiana. After selling them he briefly practiced in Austin before settling down with his classmate Dr Mays in Frisco as an associate veterinarian in 1996. He and wife Babs reside in Frisco. They have two cats and two dogs. Dr Flowers has 2 grown children. He enjoys golfing, also owning and showing classic cars. He works at our Frisco location. Dr. Franklin McPhersonA graduate of Kansas State University Veterinary School in 1996. He practiced in the Ft Worth area at a mixed animal practice prior to joining Pet Medical Center in 2001. He performs the majority of our surgeries and has a special interest in ophthalmology. Married to wife Katie, they have two small children and live in Prosper. Rounding out the family they have 3 dogs and 3 cats. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, lifting weights and motorcycle riding. He predominately works at our Frisco location, but is available to help in Prosper as needed. Dr. Nathan Sargent Dr. Nathan Sargent earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Abilene Christian University in 1996 and his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2001. Dr. Sargent practiced in Denver for 3 1/2 yrs before moving to Prosper in 2004. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association ant the Texas Veterinary Association. His special interests in veterinary medicine are surgery, anesthesia and internal medicine. During his spare time Dr. Sargent enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and watching movies. Danny R. Cox DVM Dr Cox and wife Amy live in Celina with their children. He has taken on the role of Hospital Administrator for Pet Medical Center/Pet Emergency Center/All Pets Care Center & is with wife Amy in charge of Windmill Hill Pet Resort adjacent to All Pets Care Center in Prosper.Helping The Pet Medical Center Family grow is his main concern but he does see clients at both clinics when needed.
